Everyone has something their good at, but sometimes you aren’t always aware of it until someone else acknowledges it. For me that time was earning a perfect score on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) in both the 4th and 8th grade. This accomplishment is no easy feat, and for me it reassured me that I was a good writer, and ultimately lead me to my career path.

My First Love/ Heartbreak

Every woman can attest to that feeling of first love. The world is in Technicolor and the birds are singing a song just for you. Love hit me hard, but nowhere near as hard as the heartbreak did, a feeling I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy on my worst day! These experiences yield such intense passion and emotion, that there is no way I could come out the other end unchanged, luckily for the better.

My First Best Friend

The world can seem so cruel at times, particularly during the adolescent stages. Everyone needs a friend by there side through that, and for me that was my first best friend. She was so creative, funny, and weird just like me, we just clicked right away. When you have a best friend, you can take on the world, because you know when t’s all said and done they’ll be right there with you.

Apple Products

It all began with a Mac Book. Then an iPhone, multiple iPods, and now my newest baby Lena the iPad mini. Apple products are just amazing, they allow you to do things with so much ease. Every other device just cannot compare to my precious Apple I stay organized, aware, and its oh so sleek!

Edge Control

Smooth edges can be the difference between a neat beautiful hair style and a half done disaster. Back in the day, hair gel was all I knew. I’m not sure if edge control is a recent invention or just something I was missing out on. But when I did get my hands on this amazing elixir it defiantly changed my life for the better. Natural, weaved, short cut or up-do when your edges are controlled your in control! I prefer Cream of Nature with Argan Oil  Perfect Edges because it dose not cake up or turn white, and moisturizes your scalp naturally.

The Secret

The Secret is a popular book and movie about the Law of Attraction. The basic premise is that your thoughts control your reality. If you have negative thoughts, actions and emotions you are attracting a negative life. When you are positive, happy, upbeat and genuine you are attracting a positive life. This concept reassures me of the power of keeping your faith that I’ve always known, but I have also started meditating on the things that I want in my life, so I can attract them to me.

Journaling

I would recommend journaling to any and every person I meet. I have kept a steady journal since my Sophomore year in high school but I have found some random journals from as far my as 2005, and it is oh so mesmerizing to see the hilarious, crazy and sometimes tear jerking things I used to say! Journaling is like have a personal therapy session, and a great way to relax and reflect, that has served me well in dealing with a lot of heavy emotions.

Lashes

Lastly but certainly not least my lovely lovely lashes!  I am addicted to false lashes, but even before then I have always been mascara obsessed! It may be superficial but I just love the way my eyes look with a little lash enhancement. When I first discovered the magic of lashes there was no turning back! I can best describe the way I feel getting some fresh lashes with a saying from elementary school “Pow! Pow! Twist, twist, oooo take a look at this!” My flirty fluttering eyes have defiantly changed my life for the better. *double wink* 😉
